Cupcakes and Tea for the Mama to be!
After returning from our gorgeous holiday in Mozambique I had the honour of planning a very special baby shower for a very special lady!
This wasn’t baby no.1 or no.2 but baby no.3. Wonder why so special?
It’s a GIRL!
The palette of choice was pink and grey.
With this in mind and with the help of some talented friends we created a table filled with pink nibbles.
Fluffy vanilla cupcakes with strawberry frosting thanks to Lily.
Delicious low-fat Raspberry Mousse thanks to Fleeps from Gourment Mum.
Strawberry marshmallow Krispie Pops wrapped in cute doily cones made by me.
I got to use my new stand to present these Krispie Pops. Loving my stand and I will be attempting Cake Pops next! A dessert table is not complete without ‘pops’ I say – thanks Bakerella!
Other scrumptious nibbles included scones, sandwiches and breadsticks coated with strawberry chocolate. To say us ladies indulged is an understatement!!
The table was sprinkled with very cute pink baby confetti and a BABY banner was hung across the mirror.
Prizes for the games were retro sweetie jars filled with a selection of mini sweets tied with white vintage style ribbon.
I was pleasantly surprised and a ‘little’ excited to find these jars in ASDA (our local supermarket) for £2 for a pack of 4.
We all had such a lovely afternoon and I can’t wait to meet this little lady!
