Roses are RED, Violets are BLUE
This breakfast is made especially for YOU...
I don’t know about you, but breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, so I couldn’t resist sharing a few very cute ideas (perhaps a sneaky hint-hint on my part too!) that I found on Martha Stewart’s website here for Mothers Day!
Heart-shaped egg in a HOLE
How adorably CUTE and so simple is this?! Certainly takes away the boring-ness of a fried egg on toast, doesn’t it!
Scrambled Eggs with Creme Fraiche and Caviar in Eggshell Cups
N.B. I’d be MORE than happy with just a little basil leaf on top of mine ;o)
For those that would prefer a SWEETER breakfast treat!
I’ve always wondered why the UK celebrates Mother’s Day on a different day...
...in the UK, "Mothering Sunday" falls on the 4th Sunday of Lent (Sunday 18th 2012). This is believed to go back to about the 16th century when Christians would visit their "mother church" annually, which meant that most mothers would be reunited with their children on this day.
